Explore the features and ideas in our RaceOfficer Timer roadmap, outlining potential enhancements for future releases.
This page contains some of the features and ideas that might be implemented in future releases – the overview is not complete and not all tasks will make sense for the end-user (and to make things worse it might be in Danish 🙂) – and finally the list is not sorted in any way! That said, the features below are currently being discussed for future releases. Implementation depends on priority, resources and user feedback so don’t expect the next release to implement the full list.
Features
- Support additional languages beyond English, Danish, and German.
- Maximum time from the first boat until the line closes – so that a warning can be issued.
- Target time calculations.
- Provide the option to reset the entire chain of timers (parent timers).
- Fix it so it is not so easy to accidentally stop the app.
- Master/slave watches.
- Semi-Open DIY extension.
- ASM API access.
- Store RC boat position and return to the position.
- Active regatta / race area – info om f.eks. andre race areas/courses VHF kanaler – central styring.
- Start procedure log.
- Mulighed for at skifte egen banes VHF kanal.
Smaller modifications
- Remember the last GPS position from session to session and when it was recorded (for sunset/sunrise calculations).
- Sunset / sunrise sorted by what comes first.
- Change the swipe direction for infoscreen from up/down to left/right.
